I needed a second opinion and Dr.Alvarez and dental assistant Chastity put my mind at ease. I was very worried that something was wrong, but after x-rays and a thorough exam I was assured all is well, but if needed, they were there to help. Everyone at the office was kind and patient and made me feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you for getting me in to be seen quickly.

I have recently relocated to Tucson and left my long time Dentist from CA. I am so happy to have found Dr Alvarez, Anna and the office staff. They have exceeded my want for care through their professional approach and skills. A special thanks to Anna, dental hygienist, for her ability to inform me how to better care for my teeth between visits.

This was my first visit to Dr. Alvarez’s office. I am fairly new to Tucson and needed to find a dentist near me. Dr. Alvarez had good online reviews and he accepted my insurance. Anna was my hygienist and I appreciated her attention to detail with my teeth cleaning. She also was gentle and friendly which put me at ease. I recommend Dr. Alvarez to anyone looking for a good dentist.

Vanessa the front desk girl was very helpful. Super nice girl. Jorge the dentist was a very nice man. He took good care of my situation by grinding down a sharp tooth I had in the back. Was very polite showed lots of interest for me being a new patient to his office. My hygienist on the other hand seemed a little annoyed like she was in a hurry to get off work. She didn’t seem very charming or very happy. Maybe she was having a bad day. I tried to carry on a conversation with her for being a new patient. She didn’t seem very interested. Hopefully my next visit is better. I really liked this office. Highly recommend people to try this office. Thank you !

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Alvarez’s office. First they were sure to look up my Dental discount plan and saved me a lot of money (they do offer a savings plan of their own as well). Then they got me in quickly and what I appreciated most was that he only did the work that needed to be done which saved me even more money. It was a pleasant and pain-free experience. I really recommend Dr Alvarez and his staff to everyone looking for a great dental experience!

Excellent service over several visits for restoration and repair work. Dr.Alvarez is friendly, professional and skilled. His entire staff is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this office for all types of dental needs.

Extremely friendly and inviting staff. Dr. Alvarez does a great job of making his patients comfortable and at ease. Prices are the best that I have seen!! The new hygienist Christina was phenomenal.

Dr Alvarez is very kind and gentle. He also has a sense of humor. His office staff is very efficient and very pleasant to deal with. I recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist.

I have always had very severe dental anxiety - even as a kid - and then thanks to a particularly terrible experience at El Rio a few years back, it's become almost unmanageable, and due to that along with other mental health struggles, my teeth are in less-than-perfect condition, to say the least.I went to Dr. Alvarez (after being referred by a friend who is a patient of his) with a tooth that was severely broke, infected down to the nerve, abscessed, and causing me severe pain. He immediately saw how much it was affecting me, and recognized my dental anxiety and gave me a referral to a nearby oral surgeon.He then made sure that I scheduled a follow up appointment to start taking care of all of my small cavities, etc, and told me (as I was still crying) "We're going to get you better, and make sure this never happens again!" While patting my shoulder. He made me feel so totally at ease, and like he truly cared about me and making me feel better/curbing the pain. I am so grateful for him and his staff, and look forward to getting all of my dental work all taken care of! (At least as much as one can look forawrd to dental work!)

I have been going to Dr. Alvarez for at least 15 years. He and his staff are very efficient. Dr. Alvarez has a pleasant personality and I have received excellent treatment from him and his staff. I would certainly recommend his office for anyone looking for a great dentist.

I have been a patient of doctor Alvarez and his associates for 20 years. His team is very professional . I feel very comfortable with every visit as he is very trustworthy compared to other dentists. He is very reasonable with his prices . I have all my family members going to him. If you haven't visited his office you are really missing out. Also one of the few dentists that except 5 star dental. Yearly rates as low as $50. Yes a year!!

If you're looking for a soft-spoken dentist this is not the guy. But if you're looking for a dentist that knows what he's doing, I've always felt comfortable with him for the years and years I've been coming to him. One time I was in San Antonio and was told I definitely needed a root canal and when I came back to Tucson he said I definitely didn't and only needed a crown. Besides the pain that saved me, I appreciated the fact that I knew he would have made a lot more money doing the root canal. His staff is super super friendly too and very competent

Always professional and courteous services. I’ve been going here for many years and have recommended Dr. Alvarez to others.Fall 2021 update, returned to Tucson for an appointment with Dr. Alvarez. I am thankful for the professional and courteous service! Will be returning next spring for my next scheduled visit.

Dr. Alvarez and his staff are extremely friendly, yet professional. They answer every question you might have and take time with you to make sure you're comfortable and everything is done right. I would and will recommend Dr. Alvarez and staff to everyone. Plus, he emails a newsletter monthly to his patients that helps a lot in taking care of your mouth, teeth and gums! He goes the extra mile for his patients!

I skipped going to the dentist the year of Covid partly because I didn't have a regular dentist. I was tentative when I went in because in past experiences I got "lectured" about my dental routine. When I go to a dentist, I'd like to hear what I've been doing right and what I could improve without a lecture. Jessica, the hygienist did just that plus she gave me praise and great discussion during the cleaning. Dr. Alvarez was also friendly, welcoming and a lot if fun. I felt like I got a great cleaning. I will go back.

I've known Dr Alvarez for many years and he is now my dentist. He is amazingly kind and brings humor and comfort into the room. His staff are incredibly professional and thorough as well. I'm super impressed at how clean his office is during the pandemic. It's very reassuring to patients with those concerns. I love his office and plan to stay as a permanent patient for my dental needs!

Everyone there is very polite and professional. They worked with me with the finances. I have to wait for the final appointment but I'm sure they will be perfect! I had gone to them 13 years ago and was satisfied then also. Thank you at Jorge Alvarez's office!

I was in a ton of pain and was leaving for vacation out of state for 2 weeks. I spent an entire day looking for a dentist that would be willing to see me and provide treatment the same day. Dr Alvarez's office was wiling to do that for me. I was extremely nervous due to prior visits to the dentist (not Dr Alvarez) were not great. His assistant was amazing and helped me feel so relaxed and when Dr Alvarez came in he was also so calming and explained everything step by step. I definitely recommend this office and I will continue to use them as my dentist going forward even though they are very far from my house.
